Kroger croutons recalled for Salmonella contamination risk
Sugar Foods is recalling specific lots of Kroger Homestyle Cheese Garlic Croutons (5 oz pouches) because the milk powder ingredient may be contaminated with Salmonella. The contaminated milk powder came from a supplier and was incorporated into the seasoning. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check if you have a recalled package: UPC 0 11110 81353 4 with a "Best If Used By" date between February 17 and April 7, 2027.
- Do not eat the product if you have one of the affected lots.
- Throw the package away or return it to your Kroger store.
