Heartland RV trailers recalled over power cord fire risk
Heartland Recreational Vehicles is recalling certain 2024 Torque, Bighorn, and Cyclone trailers, and 2022-2023 Gravity and Road Warrior fifth wheel trailers, that have certain power seating assemblies. The power cord fuse may not provide adequate circuit protection, which increases the risk of fire if a short circuit occurs. About 518 units are affected, and no injuries have been reported.

What to do
- Call Heartland customer service at 1-877-262-8032 and reference recall number 990182.
- Take your trailer to a Heartland dealer for a free replacement of the harness and power cord.
- Watch for an owner notification letter, which is expected to be mailed November 30, 2026.

- Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2024 Torque, Bighorn, Cyclone, 2022-2023 Gravity, and Road Warrior fifth wheel recreational trailers equipped with certain power seating assemblies. The power cord fuse may not provide adequate circuit protection. In the event of a short circuit, inadequate protection increases the risk of a fire.
