Ajinomoto Foods North America is recalling frozen chicken fried rice products that may contain glass. The recall affects Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice and Trader Joe's Chicken Fried Rice with specific best-by or best-before dates. The company discovered the problem after receiving four reports of glass found in the product, though no injuries have been confirmed.
- Check your freezer for Ajinomoto Yakitori (best-before dates 26 SE 09 through 26 NO 12) or Trader Joe's Chicken Fried Rice (best-by dates 9/8/2026 through 11/17/2026)
- Do not eat these products
