Ajinomoto, Trader Joe's and more fried rice recalled for glassAjinomoto is recalling 11 fried rice and gyoza dumpling products because they may contain pieces of glass, 1 to 3 cm long and 2 to 4 mm wide. The products are sold under the Trader Joe's, Kroger, Ajinomoto, Ajinomoto Ling Ling, Tai Pei and Golden Tiger names and were distributed in 43 states. No injuries have been reported.

Ajinomoto Foods North America is recalling frozen chicken fried rice products that may contain glass. The recall affects Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice and Trader Joe's Chicken Fried Rice with specific best-by or best-before dates. The company discovered the problem after receiving four reports of glass found in the product, though no injuries have been confirmed.
