Throw out recalled Ajinomoto frozen Asian food products

Ajinomoto Foods North America is recalling frozen fried rice, ramen, and shu mai (dumpling) products sold under Ajinomoto, Kroger, Ling Ling, Tai Pei, and Trader Joe's brand names due to possible glass fragments in the food. The glass came from carrots used in the products. No injuries have been reported so far.

  • Check your freezer for recalled products made between October 21, 2024, and February 26, 2026.
  • Do not eat these products—throw them away or return them to the store.
  • Look for establishment numbers P-18356, P-18356B, or P-47971 on the package.
  • Call Ajinomoto at (855) 742-5011 with questions about specific products.
