Maple Leaf Foods bacon recalled for import violation

Maple Leaf Foods recalled approximately 12,036 pounds of not-ready-to-eat smoked bacon imported from Canada without required U.S. import reinspection. The affected products are Royale Natural and Top Valu brand uncured bacon packages sold at Grocery Outlet locations in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, with production dates in June 2026.

• Do not eat these products.
• Throw away the bacon or return it to where you bought it.
• Check your refrigerator and freezer for Royale Natural Applewood Smoked or Top Valu Uncured Hardwood Smoked Bacon with sell-by dates between September 1–7, 2026.
