The Kebab Shop beef kofta recalled for E. coli risk
Beef kofta served at The Kebab Shop restaurant locations in California, Texas, and Florida may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, a harmful bacterium. The contaminated product was produced on January 6, 2026, and supplied to restaurant locations. The company stopped selling beef kofta at all locations on May 18, 2026.
- If you ate beef kofta from The Kebab Shop and develop symptoms like diarrhea, bloody stools, or abdominal cramps within 10 days, contact your doctor immediately.
- Discard any leftover beef kofta from The Kebab Shop.
