Cranach Hardware plastic furniture straps can break or degrade over time, causing furniture secured with them to tip over. The plastic brackets and cable ties do not meet safety standards. At least 115 incidents of breakage have been reported, including six furniture tip-overs, though no injuries have occurred yet.
