Update GE Centricity Universal Viewer software
Certain versions of GE Centricity Universal Viewer software (versions 6.0 through 6.0 Sp10.4.1) contain a cybersecurity vulnerability that may expose user login credentials on affected workstations. An unauthorized person could potentially access the system and interfere with medical imaging data or system availability.
- Contact GE Medical Systems support to confirm if your system is affected
- Apply the security update provided by GE as soon as possible
- Review system access logs for any unauthorized activity
- Change login credentials after applying the update
There is a potential cybersecurity vulnerability affecting certain versions of Centricity Universal Viewer. User login credentials may be exposed on the local client workstation, which could allow an unauthorized individual to potentially impact system availability and/or manipulate data.
