Nutricia Liquid Hope formula recalled for low Vitamin A

Nutricia North America discovered that its testing lab used an incorrect method to measure Vitamin A in Liquid Hope Organic Whole Foods Meal Replacement Peptide Formula (Berry Medley). As a result, the product contains less Vitamin A than the label states. The affected pouches have best-if-used-by dates through March 15, 2028 (24-count cases) and October 7, 2027 (12-count packages).

  • Check your Liquid Hope Berry Medley pouches for the UPC 857858004502 (12-pack) or 857858004533 (24-pack) and best-if-used-by dates listed above.
  • Contact Nutricia North America or your healthcare provider if you have questions about whether this product is appropriate for your needs.
  • Do not discard the product; return it to the retailer for a refund or replacement.

Subpotent for Vitamin A. The firm discovered that the testing laboratory used the wrong method when testing for Vitamin A. The test results gave a higher concentration of vitamin A than what is actually in the product.
