Taylor Fresh Foods products with jalapeños recalled for potential Salmonella contamination
What this means
Taylor Fresh Foods is recalling finished products containing jalapeños—including dips, salsas, and guacamole—because the jalapeños may be contaminated with Salmonella. The contaminated peppers came from a supplier in Mexico and were distributed to multiple retailers across the U.S. with best-by dates through August 16, 2026. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check if you have any of the recalled products (dips, salsas, guacamole, or other items containing jalapeños from Trader Joe's, Kroger, Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, Hannaford, or Stop and Shop).
- Do not eat the product. Discard it or return it to the store for a refund.
