Nova Bus LFS transit buses recalled for bike rack detachment risk
What this means
Certain 2022–2023 Nova Bus LFS transit buses have mounting screws that may be too short, causing the bike rack to strip and detach. A loose bike rack can fall onto the road and create a hazard for other vehicles.
- If you operate or own one of these buses, contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682 (recall CR5957).
- Replacement mounting screws will be installed free of charge.
- Watch for a notification letter expected to arrive by November 28, 2026.
