Grand Design Imagine travel trailers recalled for underrated safety chains
What this means
Certain 2026–2027 Grand Design Imagine travel trailers have safety chains that are not strong enough for the trailer's weight. If the chains fail, the trailer could detach from the tow vehicle and cause a crash.
- Check your trailer's documentation or contact Grand Design at 1-574-825-9679 to confirm if your trailer is affected.
- Do not tow the trailer until the chains are replaced.
- Dealers will replace the safety chains for free. Owner notification letters are expected to arrive November 19, 2026.
