Victory Medical Center injectables recalled for lack of processing controlsVictory Medical Center Pharmacy is recalling 42 injectable vial products because of a lack of processing controls. The products were distributed in Colorado, Florida, and Texas, and include alpha lipoic acid, ascorbic acid, B complex, BPC-157, CJC-1295, dexamethasone, methylcobalamin, and NAD+, among others. No injuries have been reported.

- Victory Medical Center glutathione recalled for microbial contamination
Victory Medical Center Pharmacy's Glutathione injectable solution (200 mg/mL) failed sterility testing and was found to contain elevated bacterial endotoxin levels, which are out of acceptable limits. The affected product was distributed nationwide in specific lots with expiration dates through August 2026.

VMC compounded glutathione vials recalled for elevated endotoxinVictory Medical Center Pharmacy identified elevated bacterial endotoxin levels in certain lots of its compounded glutathione 200 mg/mL multi-dose vials used for injection. Endotoxin contamination can cause serious reactions including fever, low blood pressure, severe headache, and in rare cases, anaphylactic shock or death. The pharmacy has received reports of adverse events from patients who received the product.
