Medline is recalling eight types of medical convenience kits that contain BD ChloraPrep Triple Swabsticks with potentially opened or compromised seals. The affected kits are used in hospitals and medical settings for procedures involving central lines and ports. No injuries have been reported.
- Check if you have any of the eight recalled kit types by SKU number (DT22710, DYNDA1857A, DYNDC1978A, DYNDC2367, DYNDC2407B, DYNDC3222A, DYNJ59067A, or PHS950205004B)
- If you have a recalled kit, verify the lot number against the FDA notice
- Do not use kits with open or damaged applicator seals
- Contact Medline or your supplier for instructions on replacement or return
