Avanos MIC Safety PEG Kit recalled for defective lidocaine
Avanos Medical included lidocaine hydrochloride injections with quality issues in sterile PEG (feeding tube) kits. The lidocaine was subject to a supplier recall due to manufacturing problems. About 208 kits with specific lot numbers were affected.
- Check if you have MIC Safety PEG Kit 14 Fr with lot numbers 30371312 or 30373421.
- Do not use the kit if you have one of the affected lots.
- Contact Avanos Medical or your supplier for instructions on return or replacement.
