Peak Lettuce Shred recalled for potential Cyclospora contamination
What this means
Taylor Farms de Mexico's Peak Lettuce Shred (1/8" cut, iceberg) may be contaminated with Cyclospora, a parasite that causes foodborne illness. The affected products were distributed to retailers and food service operators across multiple U.S. states and Mexico. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your refrigerator for Peak Lettuce Shred with lot codes TFMX182A04, TFMX187B04, TFMX190A03, or TFMX192A04 and expiration dates between July 20–30, 2026.
- Do not eat or serve the affected product. Discard it or return it to the store.
- Wash your hands and any surfaces or utensils that may have contacted the lettuce.
