Land Rover and Jaguar vehicles recalled for DC-DC converter failure causing loss of drive power
What this means
A DC-DC converter in certain 2019–2024 Land Rover and Jaguar models may fail due to an electrical overload or software error, causing loss of the 12-volt charging system. This can result in complete loss of drive power and exterior lighting while driving, increasing crash risk.
- Check if your vehicle is affected by visiting nhtsa.gov or contacting Land Rover at 800-637-6837 with recall number E008.
- An interim safety notice will be mailed November 13, 2026; a follow-up letter with repair details will be sent once available.
- Dealers will update the software at no charge when the remedy is ready.

Dealers will update the vehicle software, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed November 13, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is E008. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 26V248.
