- Whole Foods Whatcom cheese recalled for E. coli O103 risk
Whole Foods Market is recalling two cheeses, Whatcom Blue and Whatcom Farmhouse, sold by weight at its stores in Washington and Oregon. The recall follows Twin Sisters Creamery's recall of cheese products after Washington State Department of Agriculture testing found possible STEC and E. coli O103 contamination. The cheeses were sliced and packaged in deli plastic wrap with Whole Foods scale labels, and no illnesses have been reported.
