Baby and kids' product recalls

The FDA identified manufacturing quality deviations (CGMP violations) in three lots of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta instant hand sanitizing wipes. These wipes may not meet quality and safety standards. The affected lots were distributed nationwide.

ACME United Corporation is recalling multiple lots of BZK Antiseptic Towelettes (benzalkonium chloride 0.13%) due to manufacturing quality deviations. The towelettes were distributed nationwide under various brand names including Piedmont, Touchpoint, Wellstar Cobb, FSR, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta labels.

The Cubimana Island Storm 3 In 1 Building Set (model HG1004) contains an LED light piece with an easy-to-open battery compartment holding button cell batteries. Children can access and swallow these batteries, which can cause serious internal burns and death.

The zipper head on certain HALO Magic Sleepsuits can detach, creating a choking hazard for infants. HALO Dream has received 15 reports of zipper heads coming off, though no injuries have been reported yet. The recall affects sleepsuits sold between September 2025 and February 2026 with batch codes PO30592, PO30641, or PO30685.

Tomum Minoxidil Hair Growth Treatment spray bottles do not have child-resistant caps as required by law. If a young child swallows the contents, it can cause serious injury or death. The product was sold online from March through September 2025.

Forever 21 Kids Disney Mickey Mouse pajama pants in sizes 5/6 through 13/14 fail to meet federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear. The fabric can catch fire and burn more easily than safe sleepwear should, posing a serious burn risk to children.

Valley Springs Artesian Gold, LLC bottled water products were produced under insanitary conditions, which could allow harmful bacteria to contaminate the water. This affects multiple product lines including regular bottled water, infant water, and pet water sold in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Downstream recall. Product contains arrowroot flour ingredient that was voluntarily recalled by the supplier due to potential contamination of soft kraft paper/plastic bag pieces.

Vista Meibo Tears Propylene Glycol 0.6% eye drops were not manufactured under proper safety conditions, raising concerns about sterility. The FDA issued a recall of all lots distributed nationwide. No injuries have been reported.

Agebox iKids-Growth Night Formula contains ibutamoren, a substance not listed on the label or approved by the FDA for this product. The affected 60-count bottles were sold online through Agebox.com and Amazon.com. No injuries have been reported.

Evajoy above-ground pools 48 inches tall or larger have a compression strap around the outside legs that can act as a foothold, allowing children to climb into the pool. This creates a drowning risk even if the ladder is removed.

The display unit (parent unit) of Babysense Max View Baby Monitors can overheat or spark while charging, creating a fire risk. The affected model is VBM55, sold online from January 2023 through December 2025. Hisense has received 11 reports of overheating or sparking, but no injuries so far.

SumDirect LED mini lights contain small button cell batteries that children can easily remove and swallow, causing serious internal injuries or death. The product lacks required safety warnings and does not meet federal battery safety standards. About 1,600 units were sold online since 2016.

Joyreal busy board toys sold on Amazon have a small mirror that can detach, creating a choking hazard for children. The mirror also has sharp edges that can cause cuts. About 210 units were sold between September and November 2025.

Zelbuck children's chess games contain loose magnets that can come out and be swallowed by children. When high-powered magnets are ingested, they can stick together inside the stomach or intestines, causing serious blockages, tears, or life-threatening infections.

TheKiddoSpace's cocoon-style sensory swing can form loops with its fabric that may wrap around a child's head or neck, creating a strangulation risk. About 140 swings were sold online between November 2023 and February 2025. No injuries have been reported yet.

TheKiddoSpace children's Christmas tree play sets contain dangerous levels of lead in the zipper pull on the music box compartment. Lead can poison young children if ingested. The toy also fails to meet safety standards for battery-operated toys.

TheKiddoSpace peg dolls in cups toys contain small wooden pieces that can block a child's airway. These toys are intended for children under three years old but violate federal small parts safety rules. About 40 of these toys were sold online between July 2023 and February 2025.

TheKiddoSpace LED soccer hover balls have batteries that get too hot and can cause burns. The company received three reports of a burning smell during use. About 650 small hover balls (5.5 inches diameter) with black and white design and foam bumpers are affected.

The kits were sold online from June 2023 through February 2025. The company has received reports of strong paint odor, skin irritation, and swollen lymph nodes.
