Infant formula recalls

Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula in two sizes may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, a bacterium that can cause botulism. The contamination was identified in specific lot codes with use-by dates between March 2027 and February 2028. No illnesses have been reported.

The a2 Milk Company recalled three batches of a2 Platinum Premium infant formula (0-12 months) because they contain cereulide, a toxin produced by Bacillus cereus bacteria. The toxin is not destroyed by hot water and can cause nausea, vomiting, and dehydration in infants within 30 minutes to 6 hours of feeding. No illnesses have been reported so far.

Valley Springs Artesian Gold, LLC bottled water products were produced under insanitary conditions, which could allow harmful bacteria to contaminate the water. This affects multiple product lines including regular bottled water, infant water, and pet water sold in Wisconsin and Illinois.

The New York Milk Bank is recalling 66 bottles (4 ounce/120 ml) of pasteurized donor human milk due to the presence of a foreign object in one batch. The affected bottles have green lids and foil seals, with batch number 14559-01 and expiration date 5/12/26. No injuries have been reported.
