Deep-brand Premium Select Jamun (12 oz. frozen packages) has been recalled because the product tested positive for Salmonella, a bacteria that can cause serious illness. The recall affects specific lot numbers distributed across the United States.
- Do not eat Deep-brand Premium Select Jamun if you have it at home.
- Check your freezer for lot numbers: 24355, 24359, 25004, 25060, 25067, 25080, 25101, 25123, 25139, 25141, 25144, 25150, 25157, or 25191.
- Throw away any affected packages or return them to the store where you bought them.
- Wash your hands and any surfaces that may have touched the product.
- Contact your doctor if you have eaten this product and develop symptoms of Salmonella infection (diarrhea, fever, abdominal cramps).
