Great Value Lowfat Cottage Cheese Small Curd (24 oz, UPC 0 78742 11673 0) may be under-pasteurized due to a broken seal on the pasteurizer. The affected products have "Best If Used By" dates of April 1–3, 2026 (lot #06-71) and were distributed to 11 states.
- Do not eat this cottage cheese if you have it at home.
- Check your refrigerator for the product using the UPC code or lot number provided.
- Throw away or return the product to your retailer.
- Contact Saputo Cheese USA or your local health department with questions.

Potentially under pasteurized. The firm was notified by the California Department of Agriculture that due to the broken seal on the pasteurizer, the products may be under pasteurized, and they should recall the products.
