Great Value Small Curd Cottage Cheese (16oz, 24oz, and 3lb sizes) may be under-pasteurized due to a broken seal on the pasteurizer. The products were distributed to Walmart stores in 11 states. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your cottage cheese: look for "Great Value" brand, 4% milkfat small curd, with best-if-used-by dates of April 1–3, 2026 and lot #06-71
- Do not eat the product
- Return it to your nearest Walmart for a refund or replacement
- Call Walmart customer service or the store manager if you have questions
