Louisiana recalls

Bell Pharmaceuticals is recalling Clinere Carbamide Peroxide ear cleaning solution due to manufacturing defects that reduced the active ingredient strength to approximately 0.6% instead of the expected 6–7%. The affected bottles also have a lower-than-normal pH. These defects may reduce the product's effectiveness.

CVS Health Carbamide Peroxide 6.5% oral rinse contains significantly less active ingredient than labeled (about 0.6% instead of 6–7%) and has an abnormally low pH. The product may not work as intended for oral care.

Padagis Nystatin Cream USP (100,000 units, 15 g tube, lot #205060, expiring 09/30/2027) has been recalled because stability testing found the active ingredient fell below the required strength specification. The cream may not work as effectively as intended to treat fungal infections.

PT Organics Limited is recalling select 4 oz. Pumpkin Tree Peter Rabbit Organics Banana & Strawberry fruit puree pouches sold at Kroger, Meijer, and Target between March and July 2026. An internal packaging defect may have allowed a strand of soft, food-grade plastic to enter some pouches. No injuries have been reported.

Zen Principle Moringa Capsules dietary supplement may be contaminated with Salmonella due to contamination in the moringa leaf powder ingredient. The affected product is Lot A6FF4 with a Best By date of 11/2028, distributed nationwide from December 2025 through July 2026 primarily online. No illnesses have been reported.

Four lots of Unique Pharmaceutical Cetirizine Hydrochloride 5 mg tablets were found to be cross-contaminated with ranitidine. The contamination was discovered when pharmacy staff noticed red discoloration on some tablets. People with sensitivity to ranitidine could experience serious allergic reactions.

Taylor Fresh Foods is recalling iceberg lettuce and lettuce-blend products sourced from central Mexico because they may be contaminated with Cyclospora, a parasite that causes diarrhea and other gastrointestinal symptoms. The recall affects multiple brands (CV, JB, Mark, PK, and others) distributed to 28 states from June 29 to July 16, 2026, and was prompted by a multistate outbreak.

Approximately 13,200 units were sold online from April 2021 through September 2025.
