Stop using Asteria Health estradiol pellets

Asteria Health is recalling estradiol hormone pellets (10 mg) because they may contain metal particles. The affected pellets were distributed nationwide. No injuries have been reported so far.

  • Check if you have an Asteria Health estradiol pellet with one of the recalled lot numbers (253000132, 253000139, 253000140, 253000150, 253000151, 253000161, or 253000162)
  • Do not use the pellet if it matches a recalled lot
  • Contact your doctor or the prescribing clinic immediately for guidance on your hormone therapy
  • Return the recalled pellet to your pharmacy or healthcare provider
