Medline nerve block trays recalled for tubing defect
Medline nerve block kits contain a recalled adhesive component from Ferndale Laboratories that may cause the tubing to crack when used. If the tubing cracks, the kit cannot be used as intended for the procedure.
- Check if you have Medline CCI Nerve Block Tray (model DYNJRA2742, lot 26AMA185) or Medline CPNB (model DYNJRA2716, lot 25KBA971).
- Do not use affected kits for patient procedures.
- Contact Medline for instructions on replacement or return of affected kits.
Hazard
Kits contain recalled lot of Ferndale Laboratories MASTISOL Liquid Adhesive. Butyrate tubing may crack during actuation and render product unusable for application.
