Medline IV Start Kit recalled for tubing defect
Medline's IV Start Kit with HubGuard (model DYNDV2662) contains a recalled batch of Ferndale Laboratories MASTISOL Liquid Adhesive. The butyrate tubing in these kits may crack when used, making the kit unusable for its intended purpose.
- Check your IV Start Kits for lot number 26CBC731 and UDI-DI 10653160378518.
- Do not use affected kits. Contact Medline or your supplier for a replacement or credit.
Hazard
Kits contain recalled lot of Ferndale Laboratories MASTISOL Liquid Adhesive. Butyrate tubing may crack during actuation and render product unusable for application.
